Our options
You can fix everything above yourself. If you’d rather we did it, these are our services and prices. The ones marked for your site match the gaps we found.

We build and look after websites for independent funeral homes. Send us your score and we’ll reply with what we’d change first. No obligation.

What we check
US edition (draft). The rules checks use US sources: the FTC Funeral Rule (General Price List), California and Oregon website rules where your state is shown on your site, Minnesota ownership wording, preneed wording and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA as best practice). Findings say “may not”. This is a website check, not legal advice.
An automated check of your home page and up to eight key pages one click away (prices, obituaries, contact, about, services, help), your sitemap and robots file, and up to two linked price list PDFs. It reads the page code as it arrives; it doesn’t open the site in a real phone browser, so mobile and speed are judged from signs in the code (page weight, scripts that hold the page up, image sizes, old layout code, old jQuery or WordPress) and are a guide only. It can’t measure color contrast, judge design, writing or photos, or see content that only appears after JavaScript runs. Where a check can’t run we say “couldn’t check” and leave it out of the score rather than guess; state and federal rules that don’t apply in your state are marked “not applicable”. Some key gaps cap the score (for example, no prices within one click caps it at 6). Where we flag rules, we say a page “may not meet” them: this is general information, not legal advice.
