Privacy notice (US visitors)
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Draft, not final. A US privacy notice hasn’t been written yet. Until it is, our main privacy notice applies to everyone: read the privacy notice.
What a US lawyer must review before a US notice is published
- California’s online privacy law (CalOPPA, Bus. & Prof. Code § 22575): a conspicuous policy with an effective date and how we respond to “do not track” signals, if we collect details from California visitors (for example through the score request or brand brief forms).
- Whether any other state privacy law applies to a small business of our size, and what it would ask for.
- Sending details from US visitors to us outside the United States, and how the notice should describe the transfer and the safeguards that apply.
- Email rules for any follow-up we send (CAN-SPAM, and state rules such as California § 17529.5).
- How long we keep score results, brand brief answers and uploaded files.
